Heist Society Book Review

Heist Society, by Ally Carter, is a book about Katarina Bishop, the daughter of a thief, the granddaughter of the greatest crook ever, and a girl smack in the middle of an entire family of "crooked business".  The cover of this book is beautiful (I'm a bangs girl, I love her bangs!) and the look of the pages and setup (it counts down until the deadline on clock-backgrounded pages) makes the book nice too :)

In the first chapter, it almost seems like Heist Society is part of a series, not a stand-alone story.

5 Major Empyrean Edits

Major Empyrean Edit Number One:
The school that Aerynn goes to will no longer be the School, or the long name that it's formally called. It's referred to as The Institute but kids and sometimes teachers.

Major Empyrean Edit Number Two:
The Institute is meaner, stricter and overall worse than the old version. It'll have a morning rolecall, shared bedrooms, silent hallways and washrooms which are only open during lunch. It'll also have a washroom that no one uses, which will be the headquarters for Aerynn's friends until it's found out.

Tell Me I'm Crazy

Lately, I've been playing Sims 3 a lot. First, it was because I got a new town off the Sims 3 website. Then, it was because I bought the new expansion pack, Ambitions - which is cool, and also came with a new town (can you guess I love new towns?)

Now, my Sims-crazed mind has wanted to press "3" on my keyboard to fast forward through loading screens. I've planned out my new triplets lives, and thought about Sims while doing almost anything.

I've also got this crazy, crazy-stupid idea for a story.
