Technical Issues

Signing up for Age of Empires Online (a windows live gaming account is needed) messed up my emails......  however I think I have it worked out and all caliginosityblog (at) gmail.com should go where they are supposed to :)

Although I've linked accounts before in Hotmail, I'm not so sure about doing the same for Google (they make it sound dangerous :\).

Anyways, another short (crappy) blog will be coming up soon on what I should write, but I thought I should tell people that while it seems like there are 2 authors, both are still me because I'm a techie failure :)

Sarah 1&2 :P

+ another problem with being the 2nd author is that I cannot change the look of the blog :\

Hottest day... ever?

Article Here.

Apparently the temperatures today will be up to 48 degrees Celsius after humidity - that's in the hundreds for Fahrenheit.  This is the hottest it's been since the 1930's, and today (Thursday) has a chance of breaking the record.

Crazy global warming?  I think so :)

The Past Six Months...

February

  • Decided I needed a job (reffing in the summer isn't enough for a $4000 trip to France now is it?)  Then I applied at ≈ 12 businesses in my area.  Almost started working, but they never contacted me back after the first call.
  • Started 2nd semester - Math, Science, Careers & Civics and Spanish.
  • Received my report card for 1st semester;
    • French: 85%
    • Business: 91%
    • English: 92%
    • History: 98% --> this could get me the History Award, to join my gr9 Business Award.  Wouldn't that be swell?

Exam Time Update [4/6] & [5/6]

My business exam was a killer.  I didn't die, at least, but I don't feel that great about my answers.  Maybe I've just lost faith in myself... only 2 more exams to go.  It seems like I've been writing exams forever... although my first one was only last week.

Wish me luck :\  I'm stressed and (therefore) getting sick :(

P.S. good news is that my in-class test (in the form of a journal entry by Pi Patel) got 100%.  My teacher said she wants a copy, and that it was the most creative thing she's seen in 7 years of teaching.  And apparently, one part made her shed a tear.

Booyah.  :]  I love emotional writing.
