I'm at a tired-of-editing 25k now.
Yes, I've edited 25k. I still have about 25k to go. But it's a start, right? Some parts I've edited over and over and over again. But I'm doing it.
I'm using yWriter5, which I tried out a few years ago for writing, but I've found its a much better editor's tool (for re-writes). Screenshot of my work:
